The PPR40BD braking system features a couple of PPR40BD (two-way safety gears), brackets, and connecting levers. The system has a standard size and is compatible with multiple DBG connection rods.

Different versions are available to enable both side plate mounting and bottom mounting, for versatility in modernizations.

The system supports multiple P+Q max according to the guides’ features, given a maximum guides’ thickness of 5/8 in.
